Principal interior designer
Hello, welcome! My name is Diana Deitrick, the owner of Craft House Interiors. Born in Colombia, raised in Venezuela & Los Angeles I was exposed to very colorful and diverse cultures that influence my passion for the arts, music, dance and architecture. Raised in a family of furniture builders, architects, musicians, graphic designers It was given I had the creative gene and decided to choose Interior Design as my outlet for creative expression and full time career. Transforming spaces, environments that inspire and uplift people has become my passion and mission.
After graduating and obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture from American Intercontinental University in Los Angeles I worked with celebrity designer Kelly Wearstler working in very high end project all over the world. In 2009 I decided to start my own practice specializing in high residential interiors, including remodels, new builds, luxury spec homes as well as boutique commercial interiors.
My goal is to create sophisticated, comfortable, and eclectic interiors by combining traditional interior design principles with an advanced, modern perspective. My interior design theory is based on three pillars: Creativity, Function, and Personalization. My passion is to cultivate creativity by thinking out of the box. It is this type of mentality that allows me to create spaces that are inspiring and empowering. Although functionality is a must in interior design. I believe for it to be a good design, it must meet the demands of its environment. As well as serve the function of its users.
I carefully evaluate each space and work with my clients to create a personalized design that people can connect with, live in, and enjoy.
